Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric - (RRT - Peds - Pedi)

This position is located in Norfolk, VA, with a hospital that offers pediatric care across diverse units like ED, NICU, PICU, and general pediatrics. It's ideal for someone skilled with vented patients and pediatrics. The city is rich in historical attractions and offers a vibrant culture with parks, museums, and more. Must have 3+ years of pediatric experience and be willing to work with vented patients in areas such as the Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and general pediatrics care. Required certifications include Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS). A Virginia license is required and must be available. Experience in developing treatment plans and conducting diagnostic tests, as well as providing emergency care. Norfolk, VA, offers a unique opportunity to work in a lively and historical city with attractions such as the Battleship Wisconsin at Nauticus, Norfolk Botanical Garden, and the Chrysler Museum of Art. The position is located in a respected hospital known for exceptional healthcare standards and recognized excellence in nursing. Respiratory Therapists will have responsibilities including conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing emergency care. In addition, therapists will collaborate with doctors and nurses to enhance patient outcomes. A typical day involves examining and interviewing patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders. The role guarantees 36 hours weekly, with 12-hour rotating shifts that include every other weekend and holiday. On-call requirements will be discussed during the interview.

This roll has a call requirement that will be discussed in the interview. 36 hours guaranteed weekly, 12 hour rotating shifts to include every other weekend and holidays.
