You will work with adult patients and must be comfortable managing various respiratory illnesses and injuries. The role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to new settings.
Required qualifications for this position include a current Florida Respiratory Therapist license (RT-FL), Registered Respiratory Therapist certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT-NBRC), and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (BLS-AHA). At least one year of adult experience is necessary, and you will need to provide copies of your license and certifications. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and up-to-date vaccinations may be required depending on assignment specifics.
