AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in Douglasville, Georgia that is seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team of educators and specialists. This role supports students across grade levels (PreK–12) who require speech and language services as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to student success in both academic and social-emotional development.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
Facility Location
Douglasville’s downtown central business district is an interesting place to visit as it has buildings dating from the Victorian era, displaying many Gothic looking arched windows and doorways. In the center of the town there is a Plaza which is home to several restaurants, a brick fountain in the shape of a pyramid, the Douglasville School of Arts and many annual festivals.
