Sonographer - GYN - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: 9/25/2023 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1700.00 - $2200.00

: No more than a 30-day work gap and MUST HAVE references within the past year, no exceptions! **Please note if they want the traveler to start on 9/25. They will be at a different ATC location prior to this new clinic opening on 10/03. The facility is still working out those details and which location that might be. Make sure traveler is aware and okay with it.** 2 years OB/MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) Experience. **Must have experience scanning nuchals** Certs- BLS (must be AHA), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) Verification, NT certification preferred but not required. Common diagnosis / Types of patients High Risk pregnancies Twins/triplets, anomalies, Level ll, First Trimester Screening, Amniocentesis/CVS procedures Job Duties: Provides clinical services according to specialized maternal fetal ultrasound practice standards to detect fetal anomalies and acts as a resource to students, nurses, fellows and other technologists, to ensure optimal department functions. Communicates effectively with patients/families to answer any questions and to obtain clinical maternal fetal history/informed consent from patient to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination. Assist the physicians in performing TEE, Amniocentesis, and AV optimization studies demonstrating knowledge of proper sterile techniques and isolation precautions as they pertain to the various specialty procedures. Demonstrates the ability to use proper care and aseptic cleaning techniques on all equipment, probes and solution to include daily testing. Operates imaging equipment, performs routine maintenance of imagers/processors to maintain consistent quality images and troubleshoots equipment reporting to equipment to biomedical engineering/vendor as needed.
