Travel ER/Medsurg RN is needed for 16 weeks to start on November 1, 2020 in a facility in Montana. Certifications required BLS. ACLS is preferred. Shifts consist of 5:45-6. The nurse would be the only nurse on duty with two CNAs from 5:45 – 10pm and one CNA on nights from 10pm – 6am. This is not a specialty nurse position. We are nurses who do it all without any type of specialty background. We would have a nurse as back-up for any questions the RN may have, and to assist with ER’s etc, as needed. The nurse would receive a 1 – 2 day orientation to the electronic health record and facility routine. Nurse to patient ratios - 1 nurse to 16 LTC residents. May have an ER patient or Hospital patient every now and then. The nurse covers the ER, hospital and Long Term Care Swing bed. Average monthly ER Visits are about 18. Hospital days are about 60 per year. Not really a busy ER or hospital. LTC - Resident census at the present is 16. EMR is Med Work. Medication system is Bubble Packs.
