The Dialysis RN helps patients with kidney disease by assisting with dialysis treatments. The main task of the Dialysis Registered Nurse is to purify the blood by removing all toxins caused by the failing kidney.

Responsibilities:

Dialysis Registered Nurse responsibilities consist of:
  • Operating and checking a hemodialysis machine used to clean the patient’s blood.
  • Assessing the patient’s vitals while undergoing treatment.
  • Being able to take necessary measures if any problems arise.
  • Instructing patients regarding the procedures and results in a compassionate and sympathetic manner.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Dialysis RN within the past two years.
  • Active RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
