Travel RN - NURSERY in Oak Park, IL
A Nursery RN generally works in hospital nurseries. Sometimes assisting in private residences or outpatient care centers when home care is required for babies who are sick. Nursery Registered Nurses usually provide non-medical care such as changing diapers and taking care of colicky babies. Additional tasks can vary based on the need.

Responsibilities:

Nursery Registered Nurse responsibilities consist of:
  • Aiding the doctor.
  • Instructing patients’ family of correct home care and follow-up procedures.
  • Administering prescribed meds, tests, treatments and procedures.
  • Developing and reviewing patient care plans.
  • Managing patient records.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Nursery Nurse within the past two years.
  • Active RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
