A little about me.

Personal Life

I have been married for 18 years to the most amazing women,
I could have asked for. Very patient and understanding that I have never had a
9-5 Job. A proud father of 5 beautiful
children ages ranging from 0-17. Yes, my wife and I are crazy, or most people
think so. We love having a full house and this keeps us young at heart. Soccer
is the sport of choice in the house and most weekends we are traveling the
southeast of the country chasing the kids around soccer fields. When we are
lucky enough not to be at the fields. You can usually find the family near the
ocean fishing, diving or just enjoying the outdoors. Yeah, I know this is not a
dating site.

Professional Life

I am an Navy Veteran who served our amazing country from
1988-1998. Somehow, I ended up working in a small but successful 3 office local
healthcare staffing firm (Tampa Bay Medical). Little did I know my life and the
company were going through a major adjustment. Yep we were part of the original
merger of 3 companies that became Medical Staffing Network. Over the next 4
years I went from a staffing coordinator to Branch Manager to the guy that
assisted in opening 13 offices in California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. I
then moved to be close to my future wife in Chicago. Holy Cow it is cold there!
I started working with a company called Delta-T Group they specialize in
mental, behavioral health and social services. They also gave me my first taste
of government staffing. Working with the city of Chicago and the State of
Illinois. OK 4 years in the cold was long enough, back to Florida where I
accepted a position with a local healthcare agency that wanted to create a
travel division. We only serviced Florida and Georgia, however we were quite
successful at this over 200 active travelers in 27 months. Again, I was
approached by a bigger not better company that worked on Government contracts
foreign and domestic. This was an amazing place to work We recruited for RNs,
EMT and Mid-level healthcare professionals that worked some amazing contracts
for the DOD, DOC, DOHS, FEMA and CBP. Ill tell you what the acronyms are if
you really want to know later. I was then approached by some old friends from
1998 they were starting a new company and needed someone to recruit for one
state for travelers What one state? cmon man Yep Florida again. After a
couple very lucrative years with them, I wanted a new challenge a start up with
my own division national exposure with unlimited control of the recruiting
team. A place I could recruit, hire, train, an amazing team while still not
losing my desire to fill needs and keep In touch with all the amazing healthcare
professional I have worked with and built friendships with over 20 years.

That is what brought me to Nurse Earth.

I hope that one day I can call you a friend and a colleague.
