Job Details

Skills required:
OR/CVOR RN: Does not need pediatric experience, experience with patients above; circulation skills
Surg Tech/CVOR Surg Tech: Ability to set up sterile field and assist with surgery

Required state License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
OR RN/CVOR RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – Resource Team requirement Surgical Tech/CVOR Surg Tech: BLS, CST
Shift times: 8H, 10H, 12H (dependent on job need)
Scrub Color: Green (provided)
Shifts vary per week; call is only required on the day the procedure is performed, no weekend (Sat/Sun) but occasional Friday overnight

Floating
OR RN – May be floated as needed to Winston Salem campus (Wake Forest Baptist), if needed
CST – possibly for OB case for c section (if they are experienced); may also float to Winston Salem Campus (Wake Forest Baptist) as needed

Minimum Years of Experience required
RN – 2 years of hospital OR experience

Surgical Tech – 2 years – must be experienced in General OR with some CVOR background if posting is for CVOR Tech
