The CT/Radiology Dual Modality Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services in both DX/CT and Ultrasound. Daily workload includes approximately 28 DX/CT scans and 10 ultrasound studies, primarily for emergency patients such as MVCs, shortness of breath, falls, injuries, and DVTs. Responsibilities include performing high-quality imaging, maintaining sterile technique, documenting in EPIC, and operating advanced equipment including GE CT scanners, Siemens S2000 ultrasound machines, and Shimadzu XR systems. The role requires collaboration with a team-oriented department staffed with 2–3 technologists per shift, and occasional on-call coverage (2 nights per month) for freestanding ED facilities.
On Call, Call Back Requirements - 2 nights a month. Technologist has the opportunity to choose the 2 nights.
