Minimum requirements:

-Current ASCP certification.
-Ability to read microbiology results independently preferred.
-Willing and able to perform venous and arterial blood collection.
-Prior experience with microbiology, hematology, chemistry, blood banking, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, and blood gases and ability to move between all areas easily within the same shift.
-A positive contributor to interpersonal interactions within the laboratory and MRH.
-Willingness to modify schedule to help accommodate time off requests.
-Emotionally mature and able to maintain same in stressful or STAT situations.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
-Must possess high levels of self-motivation and management.
-Able to lift/move up to 15 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 15 lbs. with assistance.
-Ability to work in a confidential manner.
-Reliable and timely with work schedule.
-Flexible and willing to accept other duties as assigned.
