Prepare the operating room and required equipment in an organized and timely manner before surgical procedures.

Practice strict aseptic and sterile techniques; maintain sterile fields throughout procedures.

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment in the OR and Endoscopy Lab.

Coordinate patient care with the RN Circulator and assist physicians during surgical procedures.

Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are correctly organized, available, and functional.

Handle surgical specimens safely and accurately as per protocol.

Transport patients to and from the operating room and assist with room turnover.

Monitor and report issues related to surgical equipment maintenance and repairs.

Complete documentation such as unusual occurrence reports and required departmental forms.

Perform CPR when necessary and maintain a cooperative, professional attitude in the OR; perform other assigned duties.
