Job Details

We are seeking an experienced MSDU/IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) for a tertiary care hospital. The 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) is a critical-care step-down unit caring for adult acute-care patients who require a higher level of monitoring and specialized care than a general medical-surgical floor.

The unit receives patients from the ED, PACU, ICU, and medical-surgical floors.
Patients may require continuous telemetry and pulse-oximetry, airway management, acute BiPAP support, arterial and central lines, and titrated IV medication infusions. The RN must be adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable managing changing patient conditions.
