Job Details

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (2nd shift), Sunday & Monday off (flexibility required)
Duration: Long-term assignment
Hours: 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care to patients, perform rounds, assess symptoms, record progress, and administer medications and treatments.
Monitor and provide immediate medical attention in emergencies.
Supervise and coordinate care plans, assist physicians, and train or orient new staff.
Perform specialized procedures such as IV therapy, chemotherapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, dialysis, blood transfusions, intubation, CPR, tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning, and phlebotomy
Organize and lead the ‘code blue’ emergency team; act as lead nurse in absence of higher-level staff.
Maintain accurate documentation including medication records, incident reports, and inventory of controlled drugs and supplies.
Arrange outpatient appointments, prescriptions, and medical examinations.
Participate in staff meetings, serve as instructor, and contribute to problem-solving teams.
