Job Details

Assessing and treating student illnesses and injuries, administering medications as needed, and providing first aid.
Educating students, parents, and staff on healthy habits, disease prevention, and proper hygiene.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student health records, including immunization records and medication lists.
Working with parents, teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans and address student health needs.
Implementing and enforcing school health policies, participating in health and safety committees, and addressing potential hazards.
Offering guidance to students, parents, and staff on health-related issues, and facilitating referrals to appropriate healthcare providers when necessary.
Responding to medical emergencies, providing appropriate care, and coordinating with emergency services when needed.
