Key Responsibilities:
Provide care consistent with the interdisciplinary plan of care, grounded in Relationship-Based Care principles.
Assess patient physical and psychosocial conditions continuously and formulate nursing diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families, ensuring safety, comfort, hygiene, and restorative measures.
Perform essential nursing skills, explain treatments, and educate patients and families on care needs.
Evaluate care plan effectiveness and modify as necessary based on patient response and team communication.
Demonstrate safe and current knowledge of medical equipment, instrumentation, and medications.
Delegate tasks appropriately based on legal scope of practice and team capabilities, supervising care delivery effectively.
Advocate for patients, ensuring informed decisions and actions aligned with patient interests.
Provide culturally competent, age-appropriate, and ethical care within legal practice standards.
Coordinate care activities with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and ancillary staff.
Contribute to positive patient experiences and assist in resolving complaints promptly.
Document nursing care according to hospital policies and utilize manual and electronic systems efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
