Job Details

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive and compassionate care to patients throughout all stages of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. This role involves caring for a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes.
The RN is responsible for performing maternal and fetal assessments, monitoring labor progression, administering medications, and assisting or circulating during cesarean sections. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to support a positive birth experience while maintaining the highest standards of care.
RNs in this role will document accurately in Epic EMR, follow all hospital policies and evidence-based practices, and may be required to float between like units as needed.
