Sonographer - GYN - (Sonography - Sono)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1700.00 - $2200.00

Prioritizes and coordinates ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians. Performs ultrasound exams in accordance to departmental protocols and standards. Provides adequate patient care as it relates to the exam requested. Operates ultrasound and associated equipment with proficiency.

Required Qualifications
NC - no license required
Certified by the American Radiology of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Vascular Technology is required. Prefer graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program. Registered technologists are responsible to maintain certification and obtain required CME's before the end of their triennium. CPR certification required. Requires positive interpersonal skills in details with patients, families, physicians, co-workers and supervisors. BLS - AHA
Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American
