Physical Therapist (PT) - School - (PT - School)
StartDate: 6/9/2025 Pay Rate: $1545.00 - $1780.00

We are partnering with a school district in Albert Lea, MN that is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a remote contract position for the 24/25 school year. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional and work in a fast-paced setting. The client is seeking a candidate available for full-time hours (40 hours / week). School, early childhood, or pediatrics experience is preferred. The chosen candidate must have school experience, is familiar with the IEP process, and comfortable working with an interdisciplinary team remotely. She/he must also have the technical skills to comfortably and confidently provide services remotely. This position will provide services for students in early intervention, elementary school, middle school, and high school across 7 schools in the district. Because the PT will not be in person, she/he will be working with an onsite support person at each building and will have to give detailed instructions to the student and support person on how to perform the recommended exercises. Because there are so many buildings and likely, multiple support people, precise scheduling and active communication is a must. At the same time, because there will likely be many moving parts, it's important to have a positive and adaptable mindset, have backup plans, and have the ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances / scheduling conflicts as they arise.
