Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)

Pay Rate: $1945.72 - $2132.02
SLP with pediatric acute care, PICU, and NICU experience
1+ years of experience required – Active ID license, CCC-SLP and BLS required. Must have at least 1 year of acute experience as a CCC-SLP and be proficient in performing MBSS/VFSS. Must be able to evaluate and treat both dysphagia and cognitive deficits. Areas of coverage include inpatient, OP MBSS/VFSS. Can expect to treat about 8-10 patients/day. Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neurologic-CVA, MS, Parkinson, Guillain Barre, cranial surgeries, spinal surgeries, only thing we don't typically TBI; general medical, orthopedic-total joints, fractures; cardiac-pacers, CABG, valve replacements; oncology, don't see transplant patients. Epic EMR. Can expect to work 2 weekend days per month (can give more if preferred). Dress Code: any color scrubs or business casual.
