Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

Pay Rate: $1739.62 - $1906.18
2+ years of experience. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year. AZ License as both Rad & CT Tech, ARRT(CT)(R) and BLS required. Primary role is CT, but will be expected to help in Xray as needed. Will be covering inpatient and outpatient with an average of 10-20 CT exams per shift. Equipment: GE 64 slice scanner, GE X-Ray, portable and C-arms. EMR: Cerner. The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
