Must have 3+ years of pediatric experience and be willing to work with vented patients in areas such as the Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and general pediatrics care. Required certifications include Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS). A Virginia license is required and must be available.
Experience in developing treatment plans and conducting diagnostic tests, as well as providing emergency care.

Respiratory Therapists will have responsibilities including conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing emergency care. In addition, therapists will collaborate with doctors and nurses to enhance patient outcomes. A typical day involves examining and interviewing patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders. The role guarantees 36 hours weekly, with 12-hour rotating shifts that include every other weekend and holiday. On-call requirements will be discussed during the interview.
