Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)
StartDate: 8/27/2025 Available Shifts: 7 D Pay Rate: $1663.64 - $1822.92

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in RSU 16, located in the scenic and community-oriented town of Poland, Maine, you will provide comprehensive speech and language support to students across the district. Poland offers engaging outdoor activities and community events, perfect for individuals who appreciate an active lifestyle. In this role, you will work collaboratively within a supportive educational team to assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders. Daily tasks include implementing therapy plans, conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and consulting with teachers and parents to support student success. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Experience: New Grad Accepted
References: 1 Reference in entire work history Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)


Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
