Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Travel - (Surg Tech - OR)

The legacy of Sentara Leigh Hospital began in 1903 when Dr. Leigh built a 35-bed hospital named for his aunt. After a merger with Norfolk General in 1972, Leigh Memorial Hospital opened at its present site in 1977. Sentara Leigh Hospital (SLH) later moved to its present location in Norfolk in 1990. The city has a long history as a strategic military and transportation point, housing one of the world's largest military bases, Norfolk Naval Base and the corporate headquarters of Norfolk Southern Railway. In 2016, SLH concluded an eight-year renovation to better meet the needs of our community offering comprehensive health services for area residents with specializations in orthopedic, cardiac, advanced imaging, general surgical, gynecological, obstetrical and comprehensive breast care services in a 274 bed, all private room facility.

Required Qualifications
Surgical Technologist, OR
Experience: 2 years
Licenses(At least one of the following): CST-VA, ST-VA
Certifications(At least one of the following): CERT-IAHCSMM/HSPA-CRCST, CERT-NAHP- NRCST, CERT-NBSTSA- CST, CERT-NCCT - TS-C
Holidays: Yes

On Call: Yes
Scrub Colors: Navy Blue Virginia State Surg Tech License In-Hand to Submit CST In-Hand to Submit
