Travel Physical Therapist jobs in Bradenton, FL let you work with a therapy team serving the entire facility, including a 28-bed inpatient rehab unit and a large acute care hospital. Patient ratios are 4 per day in IRF and 8-12 per day in acute care. You will use two therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, and an ADL apartment, with documentation in Meditech. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, discharge planning, team conferences, family training, and adaptive device use. Required qualifications are an active PT license and BLS certification. You must be willing to work on the IRF unit and demonstrate critical thinking and clinical reasoning. Hospital and IRF experience, as well as stroke or neuro experience, are highly preferred. Flexible, collaborative team players are the best fit. One weekend shift per month is required.
