This temporary RRT assignment starts ASAP and runs for 13 weeks, with a competitive bill rate of $77.76 per hour and a straightforward 1% fee. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week, with no on-call requirements and no guaranteed work week for billing or pay.
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide advanced respiratory care to adult patients in acute care settings. Your responsibilities include performing assessments, administering therapies, managing ventilators, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. You may be assigned to treat COVID patients, so adaptability and strong infection control practices are essential.
To qualify, you must have a valid California respiratory care license and at least two years of experience in adult acute care. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Credentialing must be completed one week prior to your start date. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred, as you will document patient care and communicate effectively with the clinical team.
