Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1607.95 - $1761.90

Join our team as a CT Tech in Ft Walton Beach, where you'll work 12-hour shifts on weekends, either days or nights, from Friday to Sunday. In this role, you'll prepare and position patients for CT scans, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety. You'll operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images, administer contrast agents as directed by a physician, and maintain accurate patient records. Additionally, you'll assess image quality, maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, and follow radiation safety guidelines. Collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care is essential. Required qualifications include a valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy, with post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). BLS certification is preferred, and experience with CT equipment and excellent IV skills are highly recommended. EPIC experience and CTA rendering skills may be preferred for some positions. Certified Radiology Technologist, Radiology
