Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

WA license required at time of submittal! Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) - SMMC Port Orchard General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, Imaging license Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements CT and Xray Cert How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 1 XRAY, 1 CT Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties General xray, CT - no cardiac CT or angiography Experience or 'Must have' skills Customer service skills Average # of scans/studies per day 20 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC, SECTRA Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) GE Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Clinical manager is the leader Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? No Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes, sometimes Shifts & Scheduling 2 x 0.9 Day positions (7a-730p) AND 2 x 0.9 Night positions (7p-730a) Weekend Requirement Varies Holiday Requirement Varies Call or Standby requirement? Required Certifications
