Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)

AMN Healthcare is currently partnering with a school in Brooklyn, NY to fill two full-time, onsite Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions for the remainder of the school year. These roles offer a 35-hour work week and provide an opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment serving children with varied diagnoses including emotional disturbance (ED), learning disabilities (LD), ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Responsibilities include conducting assessments, maintaining records, providing individual and group therapy, and participating in team meetings and parent training. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are Encouraged to Apply
State License is Required to Start the Assignment

Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
