Travel Physical Therapist jobs in Asheville, NC let you work in a 735-bed acute care setting with a 1:1 patient ratio. Therapists pick up assignments in the main rehab office and treat patients in single rooms across units. The team includes PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, Speech Therapists, and Rehab Techs. You will use patient lifting equipment like SARA+, Stedy, Maximove, walkers, and gait belts, and document in Cerner Power Chart. Required qualifications are a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy, a current North Carolina license, and BLS certification. Acute care experience is preferred, especially with orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary procedures. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing care plans, using procedures and techniques to improve function, supervising therapeutic care, and communicating results to patients, families, and staff.
