Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Travel - (Surg Tech - OR)

Travel RN-OR jobs in Clyde, NC at Haywood Regional Medical Center let you work in a dynamic surgical environment with specialties such as ear, nose and throat, eye, gynecologic, orthopedic, pain management, plastic and reconstructive, and gastroenterological procedures. The operating room features six beds and handles an average of 400 cases per month, with most cases being general and orthopedic. Surgical operations run Monday through Friday, with night, weekend, and holiday call rotations to ensure continuous coverage. You need an active RN license, direct patient care experience, patient assessment skills, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and experience in mid-level surgery. Skills in care plan development, decision making, and continuous quality improvement are required. Experience with patient charting and an associate’s degree are also necessary, along with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility.
