We are partnering with a well-respected School District in Chinle, Arizona that is looking for a highly-motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment and work in a fast paced setting. The client is seeking a candidate available for full time hours. School, Early Childhood, or Pediatric Experience is preferred but not required. Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field

State SLP License in State of Residence

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations

The name of Chinle comes from the Navajo "flowing out," a reference to the Canyon de Chelly National Monument. Chinle is the closest town to Canyon de Chelly and visitors to the city will no doubt want to take in its splendor.
