MRI Technologist - (MRI Tech)
StartDate: 3/8/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2160.00 - $2226.00

Flu Vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1-April 1. Declinations/Exceptions are not accepted. Position Information: • Facility Department/Cost Center: 15447144 The bill rate for local candidates will be $10 below the posted travel rate • Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): MRI Technologist • Specialty: Interventional Radiology, also serving ER/OP • Number of Openings: 5 • Shift: Evenings, 5x8 • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: Rotating call – could be 2 -3 days per week including the weekend • Assignment Length: 16 weeks • Call Requirements: As required by facility • Required Licensure: ARRT • Required Certifications: BLS • Preferred Certifications: MRI Registry • Years of Experience: 2 years plus, Peds Radiology/Imaging required • Float Requirements: none Unit Information: • Number of Beds: • Patient Ratios: • Equipment: GE 1.5 and GE 3T, we use Visage as our PACS system • EMR: EPIC Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: excellent communication and patient care skills. • Preferred Skillset/Experience: GE 1.5 and 3T experience • Type of Patients on Unit: all types of patients are done – vented patients, anesthesia cases • Personality Fit: Dress Code: • Scrub Color: Black (top, bottoms, jacket) • Any unacceptable attire: Additional Information: Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program. Certifications: A.R.R.T. registered upon hire. Must obtain advanced A.R.R.T. registry in MRI within 1 year of hire. Other: The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job.
