This school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position serves students in the Medford / Roseburg area of Southern Oregon, a region known for its beautiful rivers, forests, and mountains, vibrant local wineries, and a relaxed, family-friendly lifestyle. In this role, you will provide assessment, therapy, and consultation services for school-aged students, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and related service providers. A typical day includes a mix of individual and small-group therapy, documentation, and participation in student support meetings, with caseloads designed to be manageable and student-centered. The school schedule supports a strong work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.
Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
