Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)

This outpatient Physical Therapist position is based in Catonsville, Maryland, a charming and historic community just outside Baltimore. Typical responsibilities include evaluating new patients, performing comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, developing and implementing detailed care plans, progressing therapeutic exercises, and applying manual therapy and modalities as appropriate. You will provide patient and family education, coordinate with referring providers, and contribute to a positive, motivating therapy experience. Documentation will be completed in an EMR system, with expectations for accurate, timely, and compliant charting. A typical day involves managing a steady outpatient caseload that may include orthopedic post-operative patients, sports injuries, work-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work in a structured schedule with designated evaluation and follow-up appointment times, allowing for a balance of hands-on care, documentation, and team communication. The clinic emphasizes efficient patient flow paired with high-quality interaction and individualized attention. Shifts are generally daytime hours on weekdays, with possible early evening coverage to accommodate patient schedules based on clinic needs. Weekend requirements, if any, are minimal and depend on clinic operations. Patient volumes are designed to allow therapists to provide thorough care while meeting productivity expectations.
