This outpatient Physical Therapist role is based in Lakewood, Colorado, a vibrant city just west of Denver that offers a blend of suburban comfort and metropolitan access. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including post-surgical cases, sports injuries, and chronic pain. A typical day includes initial evaluations, one-on-one follow-up sessions, care plan updates, and coordination with other members of the healthcare team. You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide patient and family education, perform manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, and utilize modalities as appropriate.
Patient caseload typically includes adolescents through older adults, with opportunities to tailor your practice toward specific interests such as sports rehabilitation, spine care, or balance and fall prevention, depending on clinic needs. Patient volume and scheduling are designed to support focused, high-quality care and efficient use of the electronic medical record system.
Shifts are generally daytime hours on weekdays, with schedules designed to accommodate both patient demand and provider work-life balance. The clinic environment emphasizes open communication, shared problem solving, and mutual support among therapists, assistants, and front office staff.
