Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position available in Marysville, CA for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting a diverse PreK–12 student population in a school-based setting. This in-person role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders to help students access their educational environment and improve communication skills. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering direct and consultative therapy services, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with California Department of Education requirements.
The SLP will collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and interventions. Ideal candidates will have experience with articulation, language development, fluency, and pragmatic language, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
This position follows a Monday through Friday school schedule aligned to the district calendar, including scheduled school breaks throughout the year. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
SLP-CA
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
