Job Description & Requirements
Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $2423.00 - $2496.00
This outpatient physical therapy position offers the opportunity to practice in Grapevine, Texas, a vibrant community in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Known as the “Christmas Capital of Texas,” Grapevine blends small-town charm with big-city convenience, featuring a lively historic Main Street, boutique shops, local restaurants, wineries, and year-round festivals. The area offers easy access to Grapevine Lake, miles of hiking and biking trails, water sports, and family-friendly attractions, along with quick connections to Dallas, Fort Worth, and the nearby international airport.
The clinic is a modern outpatient environment with a strong emphasis on orthopedic and musculoskeletal care. Patients include a mix of post-operative orthopedic cases, sports injuries, work-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse, active population ranging from weekend warriors and young athletes to working professionals and older adults who value staying mobile and independent.
In this role, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient evaluations, development of individualized plans of care, and delivery of evidence-based interventions focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and maximizing performance. Typical treatments involve therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education, with the expectation that you will actively involve patients in their own recovery process. You will collaborate closely with other physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and referring providers to ensure coordinated and consistent care.
A typical day includes scheduled one-on-one and small-group sessions in a well-equipped gym space that may feature advanced rehabilitation equipment, functional training tools, and private treatment areas. Patient volumes are designed to balance productivity with quality, allowing you to maintain a strong therapeutic relationship and thorough documentation. Caseloads are primarily orthopedic, enabling you to deepen your expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and develop specialized skills in areas such as post-surgical rehab, spine care, or sports performance.
Shifts generally follow a standard outpatient schedule with daytime hours and potential occasional early evening coverage to accommodate patient needs. The clinic culture emphasizes teamwork, open communication, and a supportive learning environment where therapists can share best practices, consult on complex cases, and pursue ongoing professional growth.
This position is well-suited for a clinician who is passionate about outpatient orthopedics, enjoys working in a dynamic and collegial setting, and wants to live and work in a community that offers a high quality of life, abundant recreational options, and convenient access to the broader Dallas-Fort Worth area.
