Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Travel - (Surg Tech - OR)

Travel ST-OR jobs in Thousand Oaks, CA let you assist surgeons and the operating room team at the facility, supporting patient care during surgical procedures. You will prepare the OR, maintain sterile technique, and handle surgical instruments, collaborating with nurses and physicians and documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR). To qualify, you need a current California surgical technologist certification, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and at least 1 year of recent operating room experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Recommended skills include strong attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication with the surgical team. The facility is an acute care hospital, fully accredited by the Joint Commission, and is the only Level II trauma center in Eastern Ventura County. Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year Proficient with Trauma, Ortho, Spine, total joints 5-8 hour shifts or 4 -10s or 3-12hr we are flexible if it is 3- 12hr shifts needs to be Wed-Friday.
