The outpatient setting is designed to support efficient, high-quality cardiac imaging. You will work in a modern environment that prioritizes patient comfort and streamlined workflows, with dedicated spaces for adult echocardiography and access to contemporary technology. The facility utilizes GE echocardiography systems, allowing you to apply and further refine your expertise with familiar platforms and imaging tools.
As an Echo Technologist in this outpatient role, you will focus primarily on adult transthoracic echocardiograms. A typical day includes reviewing scheduled cases, confirming orders in the electronic medical record, greeting and preparing patients, and performing comprehensive adult echocardiographic studies following established protocols. You will acquire and optimize images, perform necessary measurements, and provide detailed preliminary findings for interpretation by cardiologists or other reading providers.
Patient volumes are structured to allow for consistent quality and patient-centered care. Most studies are scheduled in advance, creating a predictable workflow with occasional add-on exams based on clinical needs. You can expect to see a variety of adult patients, ranging from routine follow-up evaluations to those with known or suspected cardiac conditions such as heart failure, valvular disease, or ischemic heart disease. This variety offers meaningful clinical engagement and opportunities to broaden your experience.
The team environment emphasizes collaboration, respect, and clear communication. You will work closely with cardiology and other clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic information that supports patient management. Shifts are typically daytime, Monday through Friday, aligned with outpatient operating hours, supporting work-life balance and predictable scheduling. Required Qualifications
Sonographer, Echo, Adult Cardiology
Experience: 2 years
Certifications(At least one of the following): RCS-Cardiovascular Credentialing International, CERT-ARDMS- RDCS(AE), BLS-AHA
