Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room jobs in Silver City, NM let you deliver surgical care in a hospital serving as the medical hub for Southwest New Mexico. As an RN-OR, you will assist with surgical procedures, monitor patients, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers in a fast-paced environment. You must have an active New Mexico or multi-state RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program. At least 2 years of acute care or surgical nursing experience is preferred, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is necessary. Recommended skills include proficiency in administering medications, performing medical procedures, and effective communication with patients and the surgical team.
