Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

Unit Notes Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS, Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements CT/Rad ARRT and AZ state license both radiology and CT How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? no Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties CT general ER and outpatient studies Experience or 'Must have' skills Average # of scans/studies per day EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use CERNER Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Philips, Toshiba Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Lisa Walker Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? no Radiologist in-house? yes Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) no Shifts & Scheduling Monday- Wednesday 300-1130p, Thursday 830-900p or 300-1130P 32 or 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement no Holiday Requirement no Call or Standby requirement? CT Technologist, Computed Tomography
Experience: 1 year
Licenses: RAD-AZ(Copy needed)
Certifications: BLS-AHA(Copy Needed); CERT-ARRT- CT(Copy Needed)

Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history
References: 2 References in the last 12 months
