Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist specializing in OB/GYN to join our team in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The successful candidate will perform high-risk obstetric ultrasound exams, including Level II fetal anatomy scans, transvaginal cervical length measurements, biophysical profiles, growth assessments, and dating scans. You will work closely with Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists to provide critical clinical findings, assist with invasive procedures such as Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and amniotic fluid reduction, and provide direct support to our clinical team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for high-risk obstetrics, including Level II fetal anatomy scans, transvaginal cervical length, biophysical, growth, and dating assessments.
Perform nuchal translucency exams.
Collaborate with MFM physicians regarding clinical ultrasound findings.
Assist in invasive exams, including Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and amniotic fluid reduction.
Use GE VOLUSON E10 ultrasound machine and Trophon 2 equipment to perform imaging.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during ultrasound procedures.
Document and report findings accurately to physicians and other healthcare team members.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN specialization.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound.
Proficient in performing advanced OB/GYN ultrasound exams including Level II anatomy scans, cervical length, biophysical profiles, and nuchal translucency.
Preferred Qualifications:
FMF (Fetal Medicine Foundation) certification in nuchal translucency (NT) screening.
Experience with GE VOLUSON E10 ultrasound machine.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
