IR Tech- Interventional Radiology performs an array of procedures ranging from central venous catheter placements/replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings/treatments, Gastrostomy tubes, Perc Nephrostomy tubes, Peripheral artery disease leg cases and other vascular related procedures.
Certifications: ARRT R and BLS required, ARRT VI preferred Daily Caseload per tech: 6-8 procedures/employee Rooms: 9
Years of experience REQ: 1 (2 years preferred)
First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes – with 2 years of experience
Weekend REQ: 1x month - Saturdays are scheduled outside of call weekends.
Clinician Float- Yes - within facility and their scope of care
