Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join its dynamic team. This role involves working directly with physicians and a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment, supporting a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform interventional radiology procedures including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
Scrub in and assist during IR procedures with appropriate sterile technique.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment used in IR procedures.
Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical staff to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging.
Participate in an on-call rotation (one night per week and every 5th weekend: Friday through Sunday).
Work scheduled holidays as needed per hospital requirements.
Requirements:
Certification: Active RT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required.
Experience: Prior interventional radiology and scrubbing experience required.
Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Cerner and Centricity charting systems preferred.
