Job Overview
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the Rehabilitation Services department for a 12-week travel assignment. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in an acute care or rehab setting, depending on department needs.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Deliver evidence-based therapy to improve communication and swallowing function.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PT/OT, and the interdisciplinary rehab team.
Document assessments and treatment notes according to hospital standards.
Provide patient and family education to support treatment goals.
Requirements
Active California SLP License (required).
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred (facility dependent).
Recent experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting.
Ability to work full-time AM schedule.
