Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (IR) (Contract)
Location: Bay Shore, NY
Contract Duration: April 6, 2026 – July 4, 2026
Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | 40 hours/week (guaranteed)
Compensation: $55/hr Regular Time | $82.50/hr Overtime | Total Weekly Gross: $3,887
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist with experience in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (IR) to join a leading imaging center in Suffolk County. The ideal candidate will perform specialized interventional procedures while providing exceptional patient care.
This contract role offers a consistent day shift schedule, competitive pay, and an opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform interventional and special procedures, including:
Mediport placement and removal
PICC and midline insertions
Tube changes
Paracentesis and thoracentesis
MSK fluoroscopy-guided steroid injections
Operate fluoroscopy equipment during interventional procedures
Provide care to adult patient populations, ensuring safety and comfort
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical protocols
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
NYS Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License (required)
ARRT Certification (R.T. (R))
Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, with 2+ years preferred
Hands-on experience with interventional procedures and fluoroscopy
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
