Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Contract)
Location: Elmhurst, NY
Contract Duration: April 6, 2026 – July 11, 2026
Shift: Day Shift, 5 days/week (7.5 hours/day) | 37.5 hours/week (guaranteed)
Compensation: $18/hr W2 + $2,500 weekly stipend | Total Weekly Gross: $3,175
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This role offers consistent day shifts, guaranteed hours, and a competitive pay package including a weekly stipend.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to established protocols
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and accurately
Document and maintain patient imaging records
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
Provide patient education and support throughout procedures
Qualifications
Valid NY State Ultrasound Technologist license (or appropriate certification if required)
ARDMS or equivalent ultrasound credential preferred
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience (2+ years preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Additional Information
Scrubs: Standard hospital attire
On-site parking availability depends on site policy
No on-call requirements
