Discipline: Lab Director
Key Responsibilities
Provide supervisory oversight of hospital laboratory operations
Maintain ability to work in all areas of the hospital laboratory
Participate in on‑call coverage and respond for staffing needs as required
Ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
Participate in CAP surveys and inspections
Support staff scheduling, training, and operational coverage
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a CAHEA‑accredited Medical Technology program or equivalent
ASCP Certification required
Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university in:
Chemical Science
Physical Science
Biological Science
Clinical Laboratory Science
Medical Technology
Minimum 5 years of medical laboratory experience
At least 2 years of hospital supervisory experience
CAP survey experience strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Base wage starting at $40.61/hour
Additional compensation based on experience
Relocation bonus up to $2,500
Receipts/documentation required
