Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Oncology/Med-Surg unit. Open to Med/Surg nurses with oncology experience. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care, Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma facility.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience
License: Active Illinois RN License (or in process)
Certifications: BLS (required)
Chemo Certification (preferred, not required)
OCN / ONS-ONCC (preferred)
Open to: First-time travelers
Must-Have Skills
Chemotherapy administration (IV push, continuous infusion, oral)
Cytotoxic spill management & post-chemo care
IV therapy & infusion skills (ports, PICC, central lines)
Blood/blood product administration
Recognizing abnormal lab values
